As a new year kicks off, I cant help but get excited about making fresh changes and habits to my life. For the past 3 years Ive been making a conscious effort to set new goals and write new affirmations to kick off a positive start to each new year.
If you have been following me on Instagram you would know by now that we brought a roof top tent! Totally random considering we will be a family of four this coming February! BUT after already spending two weekends away living the camp life, I know we will be taking this bad boy out as much as we can before it gets to chilly!
Ok so if you havent heard of an Acupressure Mat before your in for a treat with this post. This thing has honestly blown my mind! They look really bizarre when you check them out online but wholly they look and feel brutal in person! Like, Satisfying but brutal. I was shocked the first time I used it, that it didn’t actually tear my skin off. They do say that you will always remember the first time you use one, hahaha boy were they right there.
Ive been wanting to put together an ebook for the longest time. I spent a-lot of time procrastinating. Mostly because i’m scared no one will like it, let alone buy it. But its something I cant shake from my overthinking mind! I love taking photos and I have sooo many tasty recipes to share, I just though what the hell.
I find bringing affirmations into my mornings helps set my day with an intense amount of positive energy. I make a strong Black coffee and park up in a cosy spot with my journal. I write and say out loud a handful of positive affirmations that call to me. I repeat them out loud with my eyes closed focusing on what the words mean to me.
After taking an unexpected break from all social media and actually most of our daily adventures, I wanted to take some time and write a proper blog post explaining how Ive been feeling and whats been going on.
One of the exciting parts of our travel plans is being able to make and sell Macrame while we explore new places. The main inspiration for my pieces come from what excites me when Im on an adventure. I try to recreate what I see around me. It also inspires me to choose between one off pieces or a series of artworks.
Lately I’ve felt a huge shift inside me. My inner Gypsy calling out or everyday routines getting the better of me, I don’t know but big changes are about to happen, & I honestly am finding it hard to contain my excitement!
We had a weekend to ourselves so I thought it would be awesome to get out for a camping mission before the weather really gets cold. We nestled into a beautiful little spot along the South Coast of the North Island called Putangirua Pinnacles.
What I wasn’t expecting was how amazing it was going to be for my acne, skin tone, oil control and Black heads. I noticed a change from day one, but by day three there was a huge improvement. Most of my acne was gone, my sores were now red marks and my pores were sufficiently smaller and clean.
